Collection contains audio recordings from Glassie's 1972 and 1977 fieldwork experiences in the county of Fermanagh in Northern Ireland. It includes recordings of local musicians and storytellers, discussions, from both oral and written sources, of local history, political issues surrounding the period known as the Troubles, vernacular architecture, agricultural practices, food habits, occupational folklife, Protestant and Catholic traditions of the region, and the dying tradition of mumming. Accompanying field notes reflect daily experiences of the collector.
