Survey data is accessible through the Statistical Export and Tabulation System (SETS)--retrieval software, which accompanies each issue. Corrected ed. also issued for 1990 (also dated July 1994). Also issued online via the Floppy Disk Project website. System requirements: Microcomputer with Pentium processor; minimum 16MB RAM; Windows 95, 98 or NT 4.0 or greater with NT service pack 4.0 or greater operating system; MS mouse or equivalent pointing device; hard disk with 40MB available; CD-ROM drive; VGA color monitor with resolution 640 x 480; Windows-supported graphics-capable printer.

Summary

The NAMCS survey was conducted in 1973-1981, in 1985, and annually since 1989. The NAMCS survey collects data from nonfederally employed physicians in office-based private practices.
