- "Water environment map of the Sendai Plain was compiled at 1:200,000 scale for understanding an outline of regional groundwater flow system based on hydrogeology and hydrochemistry. Geological base map was mainly followed by by the digitized SENDAI geological map at 1:200,000 scale, published by Geological Survey of Japan in 1986. Some of the base map data is published by the Geographical Survey Institute. These data can be directly displayed on web browsers. The raster data of the maps are in JPG formats. The explanatory notes are provided in HTML formats. The tables and figures in the explanatory notes are provided in PDF and GIF formats. The 1:200,000 scale quadrangle geological maps stored in the CD-ROM publication has been compiled by the Geological Survey of Japan, AIST."
