- Summary
- This Special Publication provides indices to the Mineral Property Files and related mineral resources records of the U.S. Bureau of Mines (USBM), Minerals Information and Analysis (I&A) programs. Most of these files and records were transferred to the National Archives and Federal Records Center in Denver, Colorado, upon closure of the Bureau in 1996. Information is also provided about the disposition of other I&A electronic and hard-copy records that were included in the functional transfers of some USBM programs to other federal agencies.
