Summary
Tells the story of African-American migration from Mississippi to Chicago during World War I. Between 1916 and 1921, 500,000 African Americans moved from the South to cities in the North and West. Mississippians chose Chicago as their destination in the Great Migration.

Originally produced as a documentary in 1996.
